the Boyfriend Is Super Stoked!
I wouldn’t say that I am the greatest girlfriend of all time, but I am pretty darn close.
There are very few things in this world that the Boyfriend truly enjoys. In fact, I could probably count them one hand:
- Baseball – duh.
- Softball – again, duh.
- Beer – I feel like another duh is appropriate
- Good food – but who doesn’t, right?
- Exquisitely executed inappropriate jokes
I mean, sex is a give in… so that doesn’t doesn’t count. I am talking about true favorite past times, and those are basically it for him. Simplicity. I love it.
Well, the Boyfriend’s B-day is approaching pretty quickly. He mentioned a few things he wanted:
- Exotic cheeses (WTF?)
- Hand painted ties from Etsy
- Beer ingredients for his home brewing kit
- Tickets to Avenue Q
And oh yes, I am definitely making that last one happen.
Today I bought tickets for Avenue Q. From what I understand, it is a muppets/puppets show for adults that came from the acid trip brain of Jim Hensen.

Frankly, I am excited. And I got even more excited when I read this from Pitch.com [link above]:
The deluge of radio and TV ads for insist that the Broadway musical is for everyone – bachelors, college dropouts, college graduates, people who are wearing underwear and people who aren’t. At the same time, the spots issue a warning: Avenue Q, with its porn-addicted and suicide-pushing puppets, isn’t meant for kids. And, really, the show’s not meant for every adult, either, especially not for those uncomfortable with full puppet nudity.
Just so happens me and 99.9% of the people I know are okay with full puppet nudity. Here are a few videos I found on the ‘ole youtube.
Hee Hee.
That’s incredible!
I wonder if they do that in Canada. Wow…

Very cool.
I saw Avenue Q a couple of years ago in Las Vegas and it was awesome! Have a great time!
